Recent Highlights

JULY 2025 – SUMMER PLANTING SEASON IN FULL BLOOM

Our volunteer team has been hard at work planting native species in the Peace Garden and Four Seasons Labyrinth areas. Come by to see the vibrant new growth and interpretive signs now installed!

JUNE 2025 – PATHWAYS COMPLETED AT MAIN GARDEN SITE

Gravel walking paths are now in place at the main KYBG site near UNBC Residence Housing. These accessible routes will guide visitors through future garden zones as they take shape.

MAY 2025 – NEW EDUCATIONAL SIGNAGE INSTALLED

Thanks to community support, we’ve added new interpretive panels to the David Douglas Educational Display Garden. Learn about traditional plant uses, ecological relationships, and the story behind the garden’s name.
